Academische prent van het hoofd van een faun, gegraveerd door Girard, naar tekening van Réverdin. De faun is afgebeeld van hoofd tot schouderhoogte in profiel naar links. Op de prent wordt verwezen naar het originele marmeren beeldhouwwerk in het Musée Napoléon (Louvre). Het gaat om een stippelgravure in zwarte inkt. De exacte datering is onbekend maar kan geschat worden tussen 1805 en 1815. In deze periode werd de Bibliothèque Nationale de France omgedoopt tot Bibliothèque Impériale, zoals rechtsonder in het opschrift is aangegeven.
